This article explains the role your profile plays in your job search and clarifies the connection to your job applications.

My Profile

Your K12JobSpot profile includes defined sections that align with application-related sections, such as Personal Details, Education, and Languages. Your profile:

  • Showcases your experience, education, certifications and more.
  • Helps you streamline the application process.
As you fill out each section of your profile, you are building a reservoir of information to automatically populate applications on K12JobSpot. With this in mind, we recommend you complete your profile first to more quickly complete applications.

From the My Profile page:

  • Use the Edit option () to add or update details.
  • Use the import option () to upload your resume to help with profile completion.

When applying to jobs, application sections that are pre-populated from your profile will have a green check mark (), helping you focus on additional required sections for quicker submission.

Your applications can also help you build and update your profile.  As you add new information on applications, the system will give you the option to update your profile data, helping you be even more efficient.
